Neat and clean. The owner was the best. She even waited for us to late at night to give us keys.
Affordable motel in a great location. The owners are friendly and hospitable. Many guests, ourselves included, are repeat customers each racing season. Saratoga Race Course is about 10 minutes away as are many restaurants. There is a yard area here where you can use the grills if you prefer to stay in. Round Lake is directly across the street and makes for some beautiful sunrises. Great place!
If you are a child of the '60s and remember family vacations at seaside motels then this place will be a huge blast from the past for you. There's no hot tub or chlorine filled swimming pool, no gym or spa. What you will find at the Chamber Lane Motel is beautifully kept grounds with umbrellaed picnic tables scattered across the lawn and a view of Round Lake from your front door. The public boat launch is nearly across the street from the place and all of the main shops in Malta are just 5 minutes away. It's exactly what I was looking for and at a ridiculously reasonable price. Just a basic comfortable cozy room with everything you need. This vintage motel and cabins are family owned, and they live right on site, so anything you need is taken care of immediately. They went out of their way to juggle rooms over a big concert weekend in order to accommodate my two-week stay.
A lovely place to stay when visiting Saratoga or the surrounding capital region. Run by great people. Big fan of the chamber lane motel and I’ll be going back with the family this summer for sure
I just returned from my second stay at the Chamberlane, it is a very rustic property. The cabins are small but nicely decorated with confortable beds, a good shower and cable TV. Most importantly the owners are friendly and ready to meet any needs, i will stay again.
Awesome motel, particularly for a small-town economy joint! Owners were super friendly and accommodating. Cozy and just what you need for an "off-the-planet." I can honestly say I've never been to a complex-style motel like this that has a fire-pit at your disposal; my family and I had a wonderful time during our stay and had a late-night fire without any complaints from the other visitors or on-site owners! Thanks so much for a great stay!!
